Three banks currently issue SZÉP cards: OTP, MBH (formerly MKB) and K&H — we accept all three. You can pay for Chili Outdoors tours and rentals from the leisure ("szabadidő") sub-account of your SZÉP card, so make sure it has enough balance. Each bank's process differs slightly, so we have summarised them below.
SZÉP card payment
- When paying for your confirmed booking/rental, choose the SZÉP card option.
- Register your card at otpszepkartya.hu.
- Under "Előlegfizetés" (advance payment), select the Chili Outdoors merchant.
- Enter the amount to transfer (calculated by our system at booking).
- In the note, always include your booking/rental number and the tour date.
- Press pay to complete the transfer — save the receipt as a PDF.
- Processing can take up to 5–6 days.
- When paying for your confirmed booking/rental, choose the SZÉP card option.
- For MBH SZÉP cards, Chili Outdoors initiates the transaction.
- Please contact us by phone so we can verify the cardholder name and the card ID number (found above the name on the card).
- Processing can take 4–5 days.
- When paying for your confirmed booking/rental, choose the SZÉP card option.
- In the K&H SZÉP cardholder portal, choose "Előlegfizetés" (advance payment).
- Enter the Chili Outdoors merchant ID: 84058130, then press "Elfogadóhely azonosítás".
- Select the leisure sub-account, enter the amount, then press pay.
- On success, the portal shows "Sikeres előlegfizetés!" and a transaction ID.
- Processing can take 4–5 days.
