Our story
After years of travel and guiding we launched Chili Outdoors to share our favourite outdoor adventures. We love many adventure sports, but kayaking on Lake Tisza holds a special place in our hearts. With many years of kayaking, guiding, and Lake Tisza experience, you can be sure we provide the best possible guidance and equipment.
Why Lake Tisza?
Lake Tisza, Hungary's largest artificial lake, grew into a unique and diverse ecosystem within just thirty years. As part of Hortobágy National Park it enjoys UNESCO World Heritage status. The lake is perhaps Hungary's most exciting kayaking terrain — open water, islands, backwaters, reeds and shallow channels all in one place.
Why touring kayak?
The kayak is a fast and simple way to get around the lake. You can cover great distances and reach places otherwise inaccessible. It's quiet, so it doesn't disturb the wildlife. Kayaking is sporty and fun, and completely safe with a trained guide.
Responsible adventures
We care deeply about responsible tourism and sustainable service. We protect natural values to the fullest and keep our ecological footprint to a minimum. We prioritise local communities and businesses and support their work.
